Welcome to the registration page for ASBTE 2025 taking place in Brisbane, Australia from 22-24 April 2025.
All persons intending to attend the Conference must complete an online Registration Form.
Please read the below registration information before you complete the Registration Form. Should you experience any difficulties please contact the Conference Managers at register.asbte2025@arinexgroup.com.

Registration Fees and Types
All fees are listed in Australian dollars (AUD) and include a 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST)

The welcome reception is inclusive in all in-person full registration categories.
Member Registrations
Members registration rates are applicable to ASBTE members.
Early Bird Registrations
To be entitled to the early registration fee you must have registered and paid by 21 March 2025, 11:59 AEST
Student and Early Career Researcher registrations
The following student and early career registration rate is only available to *ASBTE student members. (i) A student is defined as a holder of a student identification card from a recognised tertiary or secondary educational institution or a holder of an international student card (submitted in English). Student ID may be requested upon checking in to the workshop. (ii) An Early Career Researcher (ECR) is typically defined as an individual who is 0–3 years post-PhD, actively establishing their research career in academia, industry, or government.
A copy of your student identification card must be uploaded during the registration process or emailed to the Conference Managers via email register.asbte2025@arinexgroup.com. Without this, the full registration fee will be charged.
Visa Requirements
All visitors to Australia must have a valid visa to travel to and enter Australia. Please note that, for international participants, to obtain an Australian visa an invitation letter is not required. Once you have registered and paid the registration fees in full then your confirmation of registration or tax invoices for payment of registration fees is sufficient to lodge with your visa application.

Note – it is strongly recommended that Australian visa applications are lodged at least 2-3 months prior to departure from your port of origin.
Welcome Letter
If you require a welcome letter to support your visa application, please register and pay to the attend conference. From there, we will be able to issue to you a welcome letter, should you require further assistance contact us at register.asbte2025@arinexgroup.com. Please be advised that this may not guarantee your visa application approval.

Please note communications sent by external travel providers are not associated with Arinex Pty Ltd. All official event travel and accommodation arrangements, and communications regarding your registration will be sent to you directly by Arinex Pty Ltd.

Register for the Conference
Registration Terms & Conditions
Full Conference registrations receive the following:
- Morning, lunch and afternoon break catering
- Access to the Conference Program and Early Career Researcher workshop
- Access to the Welcome Reception
- Opportunity to purchase additional guest tickets for social functions, if required
- Entry to the trade exhibition across the Conference days
Registration confirmation
Your completed registration and successful payment will be acknowledged via email with a confirmation of your requirements according to your registration form. Your registration will only be processed or confirmed if payment does accompany your form.
Name badge
Each delegate of the Congress will receive a name badge upon registration. The badge will be your official pass and must be clearly visible at all times to obtain entry to all sessions and to social functions. The Congress Managers expect appropriate behaviour from attendees and reserve the right to revoke the badge and privileges of anyone behaving in an inappropriate manner.
Credit Card
Please note the preferred payment method for online registrations is by credit card, but there is the option to request a tax invoice. Accepted credit cards are MasterCard, Visa and American Express. Please note all transactions by credit card will appear on your statement as payment to ‘Conference by Arinex’.
Cancellations must be notified in writing to the Congress Managers at register.asbte2025@arinexgroup.com.
Registration
Cancellations before Wednesday 22 January 2025 will incur a A$150.00 cancellation fee.
Cancellations from Wednesday 22 January 2025 to Wednesday 21 February 2025 will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
Cancellations on or after Thursday 13 March 2025 will receive no refund.
Social
Payments are non-refundable as at Thursday 13 March 2025.
The program is correct at the time of publishing. The organisers reserve the right to delete, modify or alter items from the program or to delete, modify or alter any aspect of the Conference timetabling and delivery at their sole discretion and without notice. Neither the host organisation(s) nor the Conference Managers will accept any liability for any loss or inconvenience caused to any party consequent to such changes.
The Conference Managers reserve the right to use any recordings whether audio or video and/or any photographs taken at any stage during the Conference for promotional, advertising or reporting of the Conference and/or its content at their sole discretion.
The Organiser of ASBTE 2025 Conference (the “Event”) reserve the right to remove from the venue/Event at any time any attendee deemed to be causing, or potentially causing, a disturbance or exhibiting disruptive or inappropriate behaviour. Such removal does not constitute a right to refund of any fees paid. Please view the Code of Conduct here which all attendees are expected to comply with.
